Bekah Bee & Mark Leonard
Join Whidbey Island musician Mark Leonand, student of the renowned Bekah Bee, as he joins Bekah for an intimate evening of musical storytelling at The Dancing Fish (1953 Newman Road, Freeland, Washington 98249) on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM as part of their Monday Night Bites series. This is an all-ages show.
Mark, inspired by the fingerstyle mastery of James Taylor, brings his melodic vocals and intricate acoustic guitar work to the stage. Prepare for a delightful journey through a diverse songbook spanning the 60s to the present, featuring classics from Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Loggins & Messina, Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stevens, and more. You'll also hear a few original tunes and some surprise selections – vocally challenging songs that Bekah and Mark have teamed up to bring to life.
Mark's musical journey began in 1967, and his self-taught style shines through in every performance. He joins his mentor Bekah Bee, a respected local folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator, for this special performance.
Enjoy the warm ambiance of Dancing Fish Vineyards while experiencing a blend of folk, pop, and timeless classics. Delicious food will be available for purchase during the event.
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made through The Dancing Fish website.
